5.7.25 Campaign Launch Statement:

After months, years really, of intense internal debate, I have an announcement to make. I have spent the past week having serious discussions with Kate and the boys about what this will look like, and they have given me their blessing (see when it happened to my surprise, via hidden camera, during a workout yesterday). If they weren’t 100% on board, it wasn’t happening.

So here it is: it is my intention to run for Texas State Representative – House District 10 when applications become available for the Republican Primary this Fall.

​

That chair on the House floor in Austin belongs to the people of House District 10—and it’s time for HD10, once again, to become a position of respect and relevance inside the Texas Capitol.

​

I am a problem solver and a fixer, to my core and sometimes to Kate’s displeasure , and I want to do that on your behalf. I have made myself and my family a promise, this campaign will be about dignity and integrity, because I believe we can lead with strength and honor to do what is best for the more than 200,000 residents of HD10.

A lot more information will come in the near future, but I’m excited about the opportunity to get to work for you.
